What will Lido Exhibitions do for me?
Lido Exhibitions will manage and control the entire accommodation element of your event. This includes requesting room blocks at geographically convenient hotels, setting up a web booking page via LIDOnline, making phone bookings, monitoring hotel blocks and reservations up to the start of the event and marketing the event for you.

What is LIDOnline?
LIDOnline is a web-based event resource system that has been created by Lido to manage the accommodation, registration and setup of national trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and events. It aims to reduce the workload of event organisers and place it in the hands of experienced industry professionals. More Information

What are your Event Registration Services?
Lido has developed an online event registration service through LIDOnline. It is predominantly web based and it is therefore much cheaper to administer than traditional registration systems. It also gives the organiser access to a secure site in which they can access real-time registrations. For more information contact the Exhibitions Manager.

Does Lido only offer accommodation and registration?
No. Lido offers a one-stop-show for all your travel needs. This includes:

• Car hire
• Bus hire
• Flight bookings
• Travel insurance
• Mobile roaming
• Venue sourcing
• VISA and passport advice
• Reporting and analysis

How much will it cost if Lido coordinates the accommodation for my event?
Nothing! LIDOnline is a free service for event organisers.

Are there any costs at all for me?
If you would like Lido to conduct your online registration there will be costs associated. Click here for a quote.

Will our service add to the cost of room rates?
No. We negotiate accommodation rates specifically for your event. These tariffs have contractual parity to published hotel rates.

How many hotels do you offer?
We can offer a rate at all hotels throughout Australia.

Do you receive Free Of Charge (FOC) rooms from any hotels?
Some hotels offer Lido an FOC policy based on the number of rooms booked per night. All FOC rooms generated are offered to the event coordinator to be used at their discretion during the event.

What security do you offer for online bookers?
Secure 128 Bit encrypted booking & payment pages, using Verisign technology.

Do you supply budget accommodation such as backpackers?
Yes. We usually offer hotels with an AAA approved 3.5 star minimum. However, it is no problem for us to organise accommodation at backpacker, B&B, Caravan Park or other unique styles of accommodation.

Do you offer other forms of booking procedures in addition to LIDO online?
Yes. We provide an 1800 number to the attendee which accesses a Lido consultant who can assist anyone who does not want to use the online service.

How do you handle amendments and cancellations?
All amendments and cancellations are made in line with the respective policy of the hotel they are made for. Bookings that are made online are charged instantly. Changes can often be made without cost but cancellations will incur a $20 + GST fee. Bookings made over the phone can be cancelled without charge as long as they are not already prepaid for.

Are my personal details safe with Lido?
Our Privacy policy ensures your right to privacy. We will not share your information outside of the Lido Group without your permission. For full privacy statement click here.

What is the benefit over the direct link to hotels?

How does Lido get paid?
There is no charge to the Client. Hotels pay Lido a commission percentage of the accommodation we supply.

Does Lido conduct a post-show analysis?
Yes. Lido provides the following reports for organiser to assist with analysis and forecasting: Event Booking Summary Report, Event Block Summary Report, and an Event Booker Report to the event coordinator.

How do I book a flight with Lido?

Does Lido provide Event Management facilities for both large and small groups?
The Lido Group provides Clients with event management, design, organisation and implementation facilities encompassing the following: Conferences, Corporate Functions, Exhibitions, Team Building Events, Product Launches and Incentives Motivation Campaigns.
