Why do we need a Conference Organiser?
Conference Organisers are experienced and knowledgeable persons, who are able to advise and guide a client to achieve their project goals, through the implementation of a well organised event.

The advantages of using a Conference Organiser include:

  • Major time savings for your organising committee which allows your committee to focus on the bigger issues and objectives.
  • Stringent financial management and constant spend monitoring to ensure you reach your financial goals.
  • Access to a range of reports on delegate registrations, rooming lists, budgets, databases and delegate spend.

  • Established processes and procedures to assist you in avoiding common planning errors.
  • A professional image is portrayed at all times to your sponsors, exhibitors, delegates and speakers.

We have in-house staff who can organize a conference. Why use and pay for a Conference Organiser?
In most companies, in-house staffs are not employed for the specific function of organising events. It is an added work load to their primary employment position and detracts them from the productivity of their main function. Conference Organisers deal with a variety of events on a daily basis, and therefore have experience in competitive negotiations and in the successful implementation of a wide ranging set of projects.

What about confidentiality?
An ethically based Conference Organiser will ensure that a client has complete confidentiality for all projects. For added peace of mind confidentiality agreements can be put into place.

Can we select the elements we require for a conference?
The Lido Conference Division will work to your specifications for a given project. For example, you may only require registration facilities or travel and accommodation services for a conference. We would be happy to offer a quote on the elements you need.

We have International Delegates attending our conference; can you provide them with ground, travel and post-meeting tours?
The Lido Group deals with requests for travel, accommodation and tours from international clients on a daily basis and are well positioned to accommodate the requirements.

What are your Fees?
Each client project has its own set of goals, complexities and design requirements. Therefore our fees are calculated on a per project basis. We need to understand the specific nature of your aims, and what services are required in order to provide accurate costs. The elements included in the event allow us to estimate the staff times involved and the levels of skill and experience required for the different tasks.
